These were seven stone giants carved by ancient humans, the giant god Nirude being one of them. The prayers of the humans gave life to the giants and they become gods. The Gazeck did not want to share the power of humans though and began to fight amongst themselves for it, killing each other for the prize of human adulation. Only Nirude refused to fight, and thus, survived, however, by this point, the humans did not want to worship gods like the Gazeck and Nirude found himself no longer a god.
